House of Doom

House of Doom (March 2018) is one of the most atypical slots in the Play'n GO catalogue. The studio partnered with the Swedish doom metal band Candlemass — the game's soundtrack uses official tracks from the band. Horror theme, gothic aesthetic with skulls, witches, pentagrams, and barbed-wire crosses. The structure: 5x3 reels, 10 fixed paylines, stakes from 0.10 to 100. RTP 96.11% — slightly below the Play'n GO average (96.20%). High volatility. The slot leans more on atmosphere than mathematical generosity. The core mechanic: Doom Spins (themed free spins). Triggered by 3+ scatters anywhere. During Doom Spins, Expanding Wilds can turn up to 5 reels wild — when every reel is wild, the payout is theoretically maximised. Random Wilds can also add wilds mid-spin to generate unexpected wins. Doom Spins can be retriggered — 3 additional scatters in-bonus grant extra spins. Theoretically infinite but practically rare. The top-paying symbol is the Skull (70x stake for 5 in a row) — relatively low compared to the Wilde Dead series (200x+ for 5 high pay symbols). Max win of 2,500x is very light compared to modern sequels at 25,000x+, and even light compared to other 2018 Play'n GO slots (Pimped 10,000x, original Charlie Chance 6,666x). The slot clearly leans on theme and atmosphere rather than payout potential. No Bonus Buy. Ideal for fans of horror/metal and Candlemass, players seeking an atmospheric slot rather than a big-win chase, and fans of expanding wilds mechanics.
