About Yakuza Honor
Released on 23 July 2024, Yakuza Honor sets its scene in the Japan of the clans: irezumi tattoos, dark suits, back-alley neon. Technically it is a cluster pays game on a 5x5 grid with a deliberately low entry requirement — just 4 identical symbols grouped together, anywhere on the grid, form a win. The official RTP is 96.75%, volatility is high, and the hit frequency reaches 28.64%, meaning a winning spin roughly every three and a half spins. The ceiling, however, is far more measured than the studio average: only 2,500x the bet, which you should take on board before sitting down. The engine combines cascades and per-reel multipliers. Winning symbols are removed, the others drop, new ones fall in, and the sequence continues as long as clusters keep forming. Each reel holds its own multiplier, activated at x1, which rises by +1 on every winning collapse that reel takes part in. The multiplier applies to the running win after each cascade — but be aware, it resets as soon as a cascade produces no win. In the base game, the value of a session therefore rests entirely on how long the chains run. The premium symbol, the Yakuza himself, plays the accelerator role: when he appears, the multiplier of the reel or reels beneath him is increased by +5 before wins are calculated. A second mechanic keeps the cascades going: big clusters manufacture wilds. A cluster of 5 symbols spawns 1 wild in a freed position, a cluster of 6 symbols spawns 2, and a cluster of 7 symbols spawns 3. The free spins round triggers with 3 scatters and awards 12 spins, extended by +2 spins per additional scatter. The rule that makes all the difference: during the bonus, the reel multipliers never reset again. They stack spin after spin until the feature ends, which explains how a game capped at 2,500x still manages to produce spectacular closing sequences. Finally, Yakuza Honor offers a bonus buy at 75x the bet, a contained price giving direct access to the 12 free spins. That feature is not available in every jurisdiction: regulated markets that ban bonus buys, such as the United Kingdom, are excluded. Bets run from €0.20 to €100.
