About Bison Rising Megaways
Bison Rising Megaways is a Blueprint Gaming slot built on the Megaways engine, designed by Big Time Gaming and used under licence. The studio dates its own game page 18 October 2019, placing the title among the wildlife releases that made Blueprint's name on this engine. The setting is the North American west: open plains, canyons, and a bison as the premium symbol.
A grid that changes on every spin. Six reels show between two and seven symbols each, and their height is drawn at random every time the reels start. The number of active ways is recalculated accordingly, up to the ceiling of 117,649 quoted by Blueprint Gaming. There are no paylines: a win forms as soon as matching symbols land on adjacent reels from the left, wherever they happen to sit vertically.
Cascades and the mystery symbol. Every winning combination clears the symbols involved; what remains drops down and new symbols fall in from above. The reaction repeats for as long as a win keeps forming, so a single spin can chain several payouts. The Canyon mystery symbol reveals itself once the reels have stopped and turns into one and the same symbol everywhere it appears, with the Gem excepted. When several Canyons land together, that transformation can redraw a large part of the grid.
The free spins. Four scatter symbols open the bonus. Blueprint then lets you pick the volatility profile of the round, or hand the decision to Mystery Choice, which assigns a random combination of spins and starting multiplier. During the bonus the win multiplier has no ceiling: it climbs after every cascade reaction and does not reset between spins. Extra spins can also be won once the round is under way.
The Bison Bet. Blueprint offers an alternative stake that guarantees entry into the free spins. On the official game page the main game runs from 0.10 to 10.00 (pounds sterling, converted according to the casino's currency), while the Bison Bet spans 10.00 to 1,000.00 — the entry ticket therefore costs a hundred times the base game's floor. The studio publishes an RTP of 97.01% for this variant, above that of the standard game.
