About Opal Fruits

Released on 20 June 2019, Opal Fruits is a BTG slot with a classic fruit theme given a twist — a nod to the Opal Fruits/Starburst-style sweets of the 1960s-1980s. Top-tier RTP of 96.75% — one of the highest in the entire BTG catalogue (above the studio average of 96.20%). High volatility, max win 36,000x. Format: 5 reels with the Twister mechanic offering 5,625 ways to win (modest next to Megaways' 117,649, but consistent with the fruit theme). The signature mechanic: cascading reels with exploding symbols. A Win Twister Wild appears randomly and increases the number of ways. Free Spins are triggered via scatters with an unlimited progressive multiplier that doesn't reset during the bonus round (a BTG signature also seen in Bonanza). The 36,000x max win is reached through saturated Free Spins multipliers plus extended ways. Stakes range from 0.10€ to 10€ (a narrower range than most other BTG titles). Bonus buy available: 100x the stake.
