About Cygnus 2

Released on 2 August 2022, Cygnus 2 is ELK Studios' signature 'astronomy meets Egypt' slot — an observatory setting with a space backdrop, hieroglyphs and constellations. Format: 6x4 grid expandable to 6x8, 4,096 ways expandable up to 262,144 via progressive avalanche cascades (one of the highest in the market), RTP 94%, medium-high volatility (8/10 on ELK's scale), max win of 50,000x stake, and a very reassuring 23.6% hit frequency.

Signature mechanics: Avalanche cascading with gravity effects (symbols fall vertically from the top, with a visual emphasis on gravity), progressive grid expansion up to +4 rows maximum across successive cascades, and multiplier symbols worth 2x/3x/5x/10x that appear on the reels and apply immediately to wins.

Free Spins are triggered when bonus symbols reach the leftmost position (bonus symbols slide left with each cascade — a slow-build mechanic). A non-resetting multiplier in the Free Spins accumulates without resetting between spins, creating exponential potential over longer sessions.

X-iter offers 5 tiers: Bonus Hunt 2x (accelerated bonus hunting), Multiplier 10x, Multiplier Wilds 25x, Bonus 100x (instant Free Spins), Super Bonus 500x (enhanced Free Spins).

❓Cygnus 2 FAQ

What is the RTP of Cygnus 2?▾

The official RTP is 94% (low against the 96% industry standard — common for ELK titles).

It can be adjusted by the operator, so check the in-game 'i' info button.

Which X-iter tier should I choose on Cygnus 2?▾

Bonus Hunt 2x = accelerated hunting for the bonus.

Multiplier 10x = boosted reels. Multiplier Wilds 25x = wilds with guaranteed multipliers. Bonus 100x = instant Free Spins. Super Bonus 500x = enhanced Free Spins with a non-resetting multiplier head start. To chase the 50,000x max, go for 500x.

How does the non-resetting multiplier work?▾

During the Free Spins, every multiplier symbol that appears adds to a global multiplier.

That global multiplier does NOT reset between spins within the bonus — it keeps accumulating. Over a longer session, the potential becomes exponential.

Is Cygnus 2 available at online casinos?▾

Yes — at most top-rated online casinos that carry ELK Studios.

Note that the bonus buy is banned in the UK.
