Tomb of Treasure

Released on May 7, 2019, Tomb of Treasure casts the player as a treasure hunter exploring ancient royal tombs, with a committed archaeological-adventure art direction. Its contribution to the PG Soft catalogue is technical: it is one of the studio's first titles to build its entire gameplay around a grid that changes size mid-round. The game starts on a 5 reels x 3 rows layout offering 243 ways to win. When a Power symbol lands on the centre reel (reel 3), the Expanding Reels Feature kicks in: the grid extends up to 6 rows, taking the number of possible combinations to 7,776. The phase grants 3 respins and, decisively, all wins collected during the Expanding Reels Feature are multiplied. The official RTP sits at 96.47%, within the normal market range, with medium volatility that makes sessions steadier than on the studio's high-volatility productions. Its split deserves attention: 46.88% comes from the base game and 49.60% from the expansion feature. In other words, slightly more than half the theoretical return depends on the Power symbol landing — a strong dependency, though less extreme than on modern slots where 70 to 80% of the RTP is locked in the bonus. On maximum potential, two figures circulate and you need both: PG Soft advertises 100,000x the stake, while the published simulation caps out at 8,137x. This kind of gap is not unusual at the studio, but its scale here is particularly marked: the headline figure corresponds to a set of conditions whose probability is close to nil, and should not serve as a playing benchmark. Two final practical points: the bet range runs from 0.10 to 10, a very low entry suited to small budgets, and no bonus buy is offered — the Expanding Reels Feature has to be earned in natural play.
