About Medusa II
Released on 30 July 2018, Medusa II is one of PG Soft's earliest titles, long before the studio made its name with Wild Bandito or Fortune Tiger. The format stayed classic: 5 reels, 3 rows, 30 paylines, stakes from €0.30 to €375 — an unusually wide upper range for this developer. Two serious reservations before you start a session. First the 94.96% RTP, nearly two points below the studio's current standard. Second the win potential, on which the sources do not agree: the game's tech sheet advertises 2,000x the stake, while the gameplay analysis reports an actually observed ceiling around 550x, called "notably low" for a PG Soft slot. We would rather flag that gap than arbitrarily pick a side. The feature set, on the other hand, is surprisingly full: the Stone Reel reveals a randomly chosen pay symbol across every position on a reel, a pot-picking mini-game hands out prizes, respins or extra soul stones, and the soul stone collection triggers the main bonus. The free spins take the form of a battle against Medusa: defeating her awards +5 extra free spins and up to 9 wilds randomly added on each spin.
