BetsRank Verdict

Our read of the game, based on the data the studio publishes

Released in June 2021, Hop'N'Pop is one of Hacksaw's biggest cluster-pays hits, with an instantly recognisable farm/fruit theme and a max win of 12,500x. A 7x7 grid (larger than Stack'Em) combines cluster pays with avalanche cascades. The signature mechanic: progressive Roaming x2 multipliers that move around the grid — they can split (stay separate) or double (add together) with every cascade, reaching up to 4 simultaneous multipliers of x64 each. 10 free spins are triggered by 3-5 scatters, with sticky multipliers that don't reset between cascades. A 3-tier bonus buy (100x / 200x / 400x) is available.

Strengths

+Max win of 12,500x — higher than Stack'Em (10,000x)
+Roaming x2 multipliers that can reach x64 each
+Sticky multipliers in the bonus (don't reset between cascades)
+3-tier bonus buy (3/4/5 scatters)
+Clear, iconic farm/fruit theme

To consider

−Volatility rated 5/5 — dry sessions are possible
−Wilds are only active in the bonus (no wilds in the base game)
−3 scatters is the minimum entry, but caps the win at that tier
−The Roaming Multiplier mechanic can be confusing at first

Which bonus buy tier should you choose: 100x, 200x or 400x?▾

100x buys entry at 3 scatters (10 FS, most accessible).

200x buys entry at 4 scatters (10 FS plus 1 guaranteed sticky multiplier). 400x buys entry at 5 scatters (10 FS plus amplified multipliers). The 100x tier remains the most mathematically efficient option for beginners.

Hop'N'Pop or Stack'Em?▾

Hop'N'Pop has a bigger grid (7x7), a higher max win (12,500x), and the Roaming Multipliers mechanic.

Stack'Em has a 5x6 grid, a max win of 10,000x, and multipliers stacked per reel. It comes down to a choice of cluster-pays mechanic — there's no wrong answer.
