About Gunslinger: Reloaded
Gunslinger: Reloaded was released on 25 October 2018. Play'n GO published an official announcement for this title, which it does not always do: it describes a five-reel slot drawn from the golden age of the Wild West, with three features — shooting playing cards to win the jackpot, a manhunt called Bounty Hunt, and bottles to shoot in order to release free spins. The studio publishes no RTP, no volatility and no maximum win.
The grid is conventional: five reels, three rows, 25 paylines. The wild is the bounty hunter character; it substitutes for every symbol except the scatter and the bonus symbol.
Shoot the Cards is the most unusual mechanic in this batch. A poker hand sits above the reels and you have to land a win on each of its cards to rebuild a straight flush. Completing the hand triggers the sequence: the cards fly up and the gunslinger opens fire. The jackpot is awarded when every card hit carries the sheriff's star. Two details come from AskGamblers: the probability of success rises with the size of the stake, and the feature is unavailable during free spins. The same source states that this jackpot is not subject to the game's 5,000x cap — a nuance that changes how the maximum win should be read.
Bottle Spins trigger on three whiskey bottle scatters landing on reels 2, 3 and 4. You then shoot one of three bottles to reveal how many rounds you get: databases document a range of 10 to 25, one of them specifying three values, 10, 15 or 25. Throughout the feature every win is doubled, except those coming from the bonus game. Retriggers are unlimited. That two-and-a-half to one spread deserves stating plainly: ten spins at a x2 multiplier are worth, in expectation, twenty normal spins, while twenty-five are worth fifty. Choosing the bottle has no real influence, but the outcome is worth two and a half times more in one case than the other.
Bounty Hunt opens on three wanted posters landing on reels 1, 2 and 3. You pick an outlaw, chase him through the town across three stages, and then face the final duel. AskGamblers documents three targets carrying multipliers of x2, x3 and x4 depending on which outlaw you choose.
The RTP on record is 96.63%, leaving the house a theoretical €3.37 per €100 wagered. Across the 180 Play'n GO machines in the BetsRank database, only six do better, which puts this title in the top seven of the catalogue we track — ahead of Rise of Olympus, Legacy of Egypt and Wild North, all released the same year. One caveat: one listing gives 96.67% rather than 96.63%, and SlotCatalog documents a low build at 94.64%. The applicable figure appears in the casino's game rules.
Stakes run from €0.25 to €100. That minimum follows from the 25 paylines at a cent each. The 5,000x ceiling matches the Play'n GO catalogue median exactly, and represents €1,250 at €0.25, €5,000 at €1 and €500,000 at €100. Volatility is rated medium by three sources out of four, with a single listing calling it high.
