    BetsRank Verdict

Our read of the game, based on the data the studio publishes

Released in September 2024, Gem Elevator takes Pragmatic's popular Cash Elevator formula and reskins it with a gemstone theme — the elevator now climbs floor by floor through diamonds and jewels instead of cash prizes. Classic 5×3, Cluster pays format, RTP 96.53%, max win 10,000x, very high volatility. The signature Elevator feature awards escalating rewards as it rises, layered with free spins multipliers, giving the game a distinct progression feel even though it borrows directly from Cash Elevator's proven structure.

    Strengths

    • +Distinctive floor-by-floor Elevator feature
    • +Max win 10,000x
    • +Gem theme with a clear sense of progression

    The game in pictures

Screenshots of the actual game, not promotional art — every screen is described from what it shows.

Gem Elevator — The base game
The base game at rest: thirty filled cells, six reels of five gems each, set in stone blocks and topped by six red lamps fixed to the upper beam. To the left of the frame, the BUY FREE SPINS sign shows its price, $200.00, a hundred times the bet given along the bottom — CREDIT $99,998.00, BET $2.00 — and the SPIN TO WIN! prompt fills the centre bar. On the right, the red-bearded miner holds the elevator lever.
Gem Elevator — Game rules, page 1
Page 1/7 of the paytable, in cash for the $2.00 bet, with the header that sets the rule: “All symbols pay in blocks of minimum 5 symbols connected horizontally or vertically. The game is played on a 6x5 grid of symbols.” The square ruby pays $1,000.00 for a block of 13 to 30 symbols, $200.00 for 11-12, $80.00 for 9-10, $30.00 for 7-8, $6.00 for 6 and $5.00 for 5; then come the amethyst ($200.00 at the top tier), the sapphire ($100.00), the square emerald ($80.00), the topaz ($50.00), the pentagonal emerald ($40.00), the purple lozenge ($30.00) and the blue triangle ($20.00). The gold nugget is the WILD, substituting for everything except the BONUS, and the silver drill bit is the BONUS; both can land on all reels.
    Gem Elevator — Tumble feature
Page 2/7, where the game explains its name. After the Tumble comes the ELEVATOR NUDGE FEATURE: once wins and tumbles are over, any number of reels can be nudged up or down, up to five times, and any new winning block formed during those nudges is paid before the nudges resume. Nudges can bring WILDs onto the screen, carrying a multiplier of “1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x”, and — this is the sentence that matters — “If WILDS nudge without connecting to any winning combination, for every nudge, the multiplier they carry doubles.” The FREE SPINS open on four, five, six or more BONUS symbols for 10, 15 or 20 spins, with at least one reel nudged on every spin, and a retrigger worth 5, 8 or 10 spins.
    Gem Elevator — Max win
Page 3/7, two blocks on an almost empty page, the game grid staying visible, dimmed, behind it. MAX WIN: “The maximum win amount is limited to 10,000x bet in both base game and free spin.” BUY FREE SPINS: the round can be bought “for 100x current total bet”, four, five, six or more BONUS symbols then hitting at random on the triggering spin — which matches exactly the $200.00 shown on the base-game sign for a $2.00 bet.
Gem Elevator — Game rules, page 4
Page 4/7, the numbers page: the theoretical RTP is given as 96.53%, and 96.58% when going through “BUY FREE SPINS” — here the buy returns slightly more than ordinary play. The page restates that only the highest win is paid per combination, that wins from several blocks are added together and that the free spins win is credited once the round completes. The betting range closes the screen: MINIMUM BET $0.20, MAXIMUM BET $240.00.
Gem Elevator — How to play
Page 5/7, the interface: the CREDIT and BET labels show the balance and the current total bet, and “Click on the labels to switch between coins view and cash view” — that setting is what accounts for the cash amounts read in the paytable. The AUTOPLAY button opens the automatic play menu and a second click stops it, the three-chevron icon cycles normal speed, quick spin and turbo spin, and the + and − buttons change the bet while opening the denominations menu.
    Gem Elevator — Settings menu
Page 6/7: the SETTINGS menu holds four entries — INTRO SCREEN, AMBIENT, SOUND FX and GAME HISTORY — while the BET MENU block explains that the + and − buttons act on the BET and COIN VALUE fields, the total bet being shown in both coins and cash. The footer repeats the ceiling: “The maximum win amount is limited to 10000X bet.”, the win then being paid up to the cap and all remaining features forfeited.
    Gem Elevator — Autoplay
Page 7/7, the last and the shortest: two lines on AUTOPLAY. The first says automatic play is started by clicking the buttons carrying the number of possible spins, the second describes the SKIP SCREENS option, which auto-skips the feature introduction and end screens after a short period of time. The thirty gems of the base game stay visible, dimmed, behind the panel.
