About Fortune Snake
Released on 2 January 2025 to celebrate the Year of the Wood Snake, Fortune Snake is the latest instalment in PG Soft's Fortune series. It reuses the structure that has become its signature: the asymmetric 3-4-3 grid popularised by Fortune Ox, with 10 mixed paylines running from left to right. The setting, on the other hand, breaks with the studio's traditional Asian imagery: the action unfolds in the middle of a hip-hop concert, with the snake taking the mic. On the numbers, RTP is 96.75%, volatility is low and the hit frequency is 20.25%, for a ceiling of 5,000x the stake — the highest in the series, level with Fortune Rabbit and double Fortune Tiger's. The engine rests on two elements. First the stacked wilds, restricted to the middle reel and carrying a x10 multiplier: it is the highest-paying symbol, worth up to 50x the stake. Second the Fortune Snake Feature, a Lock & Respin mode in which a symbol is drawn at random, locks onto the grid and triggers respins for as long as that same symbol keeps landing. Finally, note the Bonus Bet: for a 50% increase in your stake, it raises the chances of triggering the feature. This is not a bonus buy in the strict sense — Fortune Snake does not offer one — but an accelerator. The bet range runs from €0.30 to €90 depending on operator settings.
