About Dragon Hatch 2
Released on 10 January 2024, Dragon Hatch 2 is the direct sequel to Dragon Hatch, but with a redesigned engine. Classic ways to win are gone: the game adopts a 5x5 Cluster Pays grid, where a win forms as soon as at least 4 matching symbols are connected vertically or horizontally. RTP sits at 96.76%, volatility is medium, and the bet range runs from €0.20 to €200 — one of the highest caps in the PG Soft catalogue, which noticeably broadens the audience it targets. Every winning combination triggers a cascade: the symbols involved disappear and new ones drop in to replace them. A sticky wild occupies the centre position of the grid and therefore contributes to every cluster forming around it. The heart of the game, though, remains its symbol collection meter: as it fills, it activates three successive modifiers, each embodied by a baby dragon — Earth, then Water, then Fire. The progression culminates in the enhanced Dragon Queen modifier, which adds wilds in the corners of the grid and carries out a symbol upgrade on screen. The win ceiling, on the other hand, stays deliberately measured: 2,500x the stake, one of the lowest among the studio's recent releases. Dragon Hatch 2 is therefore aimed at players who prefer a readable, steady build-up to chasing extreme multipliers.
