TL;DR
- NetEnt slot, April 2019, a direct sequel to Dead or Alive (2009). Format 5x3, 9 fixed lines.
- 96.82% RTP (top tier for NetEnt), very high volatility, MAX 111,111x, a NetEnt record.

Why Dead or Alive 2 is legendary
It's the slot behind some of the biggest documented streamer big wins in the industry. Multiple 100,000x+ records have been hit in High Noon Saloon mode:
- Roshtein (2020): €100,000+ on DOA2 in High Noon mode
- Trainwreckstv: multiple 50,000x-100,000x hits streamed live
- The r/CasinoStreaming community on Reddit: DOA2 is regarded as "the record-breaking slot"
It also carries the highest RTP in NetEnt's high-volatility portfolio (96.82%).
The 3 Free Spins modes — the signature feature
A tactical choice before the bonus. Each mode has its own volatility profile:
| Mode | Volatility | Mechanic | Recommended for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Train Heist | Lower | Wild counters + multipliers up to 16x | Longer sessions, intermediate wins |
| Old Saloon | Medium | 2x global applied to all wins | Balanced profile |
| High Noon Saloon | Maximum | Cumulative sticky wilds at 2x-3x | Chasing the 111,111x record |
Train Heist
- Wild counters that increment with every wild that lands
- Multipliers up to 16x on wilds
- A "safer" profile — less risky, but with a more modest max win
Old Saloon
- A 2x global multiplier applied to ALL wins (permanent)
- No sticky wilds — the reels recompose each spin
- A "balanced" profile — consistent sessions
High Noon Saloon
- Sticky wilds that persist for the entire bonus
- 2x-3x multipliers on every sticky wild
- Cross multiplications when several wilds land simultaneously (2x × 3x = 6x global, and so on)
- An "all-in" profile — very short sessions are possible, but it's the only path to the 111,111x
Max win 111,111x — a NetEnt record
How to reach it:
- High Noon Saloon mode is mandatory
- Sticky wilds accumulate over the duration of the bonus
- 2x-3x multipliers on every simultaneous wild
- The highest-paying symbol drawn on a line with multiple wilds × multipliers
- Probability: extremely low, but a unique mathematical path exists
At a €1 bet, that's a theoretical maximum jackpot of €111,111.
